Sidonee trip!

[livejournal.com profile] seedy_girl and myself have booked ourselves some v. cheap virgin blue flights to Sydney... We'll be arriving in Sydney airport at 7:45 am on Saturday 28th Feb (ouch), and leaving Sydney airport at 6:15 am on Monday 1st March (also ouch)...

Suggestions of stuff to do, people to see, and places to stay are welcomed here. Was thinking that brunch somewhere in Newtown on Saturday would be a damn fine idea, but any and all suggestions are welcome. This is a trip to see friends (having done the family thang at Chinese New Year), so hopefully we'll be able to catch up with oodles of people...

The Chinese Garden has pretty much won my heart when I visited there last year.

Enjoy your time in Sydney. Don't forget to tell me all about it when you come back!

Love,
Ricky and Thomas

I actually finish work at about 7.30 am, so I can be at the airport at 8-ish and chauffer. And if you get stuck, we have a floor mat and sleeping bags - it's not a palace, but it's sleepable.

But you have to oil my wok.

Oiling your wok is definitely not a problem

Heh. Thank you. :-)

I'm flexible as to timing. Brunch, dinner, et al. All good. Newtown isn't to bad to get to from balmain. Oh, and if you need floor space to crash, have some spare...

Woo! I'm there.. and if you do go to the Chinese Gardens, I'm triple there! *g*
Let me know what's happening :)

I'd love to see the two of you again, so please let me know what you decide on doing when you've consulted with Miss Seedy. Brunch, yum cha, dinner all sound good. Count me in for any of them that I'm invited to ; )
