Ahah. I suspect I know where the difference lies... I think it's intentionally modified in the SLA Industries Mort sourcebook, since the "language" it's quoted as being in is "Killan", not Italian. If so, the "wrong" spelling is indeed the way it's supposed to be, for the SLAverse. I'd better check, but I strongly suspect that's what the shtick is.

Err, yes. What I'm saying is that the quote in my blurb is taken from the Mort sourcebook, which is a roleplaying sourcebook set in a fictitious universe. The quote in question is described in that sourcebook as being written in "Killan" - the language of a thoroughly alien spacegoing race. That means it's not Italian (despite the surface similarity) and thus the modified (and wrong for Italian) spelling of the phrase is almost certainly intentional. I'll be checking the Mort sourcebook when I get home to make sure I've got it right (ie, that the wrong spelling is indeed what's in the Mort sourcebook).

I just checked the Mort sourcebook - you typed it correctly from the book. And it is mentioned as being in the Killan tongue, so I suspect it_is_intentionally misspelled.
