Been madly busy, and Tsunami Benefit Concert...

Heyho... Haven't been around LJ much lately... Apart from life being eaten a bit by World of Warcraft, and Arcanacon, I've been doing Melbourne Intervarsity Choral Festival's second week as well...

The concert is in association with Independent Classics and the City of Melbourne... We're doing Bruckner's Mass in E minor and Kodaly's Missa Brevis. Both of them are pretty fantastic pieces of music, and they're sounding excellent. It's on this Saturday 5th February at 8:00pm at Melbourne Town Hall. I know the MSO free concert in the park is time conflicted, but given the weather, I figure it's not very likely people will want to go to that...

Tickets are $14, and are available from Ticketek (132 849) and Half-Tix, also should be plenty available at the door. Also, if you have my phone details, I can possibly arrange to acquire tickets for you tomorrow and leave them at the door. City of Melbourne have given us a grant which has basically paid for the venue, so almost all that ticket price goes to the Australian Red Cross Asian Quake and Tsunamis Appeal. So come along, it's a worthwhile cause, and some great music.
