Swing Patrol Collingwood at Performance Ball 2007 - from behind

For those of you wondering what the heck I've been doing for the last little while, apart from working... The answer is a vast amount of swing dancing, mostly with a mob called Swing Patrol. One of their venues is the Collingwood Queer Friendly class (although mysteriously currently held in Richmond on Wednesday nights, due to a variety of strange and complicated adventures), and here's a YouTube video of Swing Patrol Collingwood at Performance Ball 2007 - from behind if you want to watch.

I'm in video left centre (and no, my dance partner isn't seedy_girl - she decided that two routines was enough, Collingwood was one of three routines I did this year). Most amazingly, some of the performers had done no swing dancing prior to learning that routine... And that was about 7 weeks of learning, one to one and a half hours each week. Anyway, having now done an aerial (for the un-jargoned, that means the lead throws the follow into the air in some way), I'm exceedingly keen to do more, hopefully including some where I get thrown. Whee!
