Flu is bad, m'kay?

cough. Ow. Well, I've spent the last five days in bed, coughing my lungs out and feeling miserable. Fortunately, I managed to stagger out of the house for long enough on Saturday to acquire the bizarre herbs and some chicken for Chinese Medicine Soup, plus enough thin rice noodles to last me. I have been eating that (with rice noodles for substance) lots. It has a bitter/sweet/salty flavour, and when your nose doesn't work at all, it's just the right thing, because you can actually taste it.
Today, I have managed to stumble to work, and whilst I haven't achieved anything yet, I think I may be about to. My neck is crunchy, and I really wish more of my friends knew acupressure. Oh well. cough. Ouch.

*nodnod* I am getting better. Still feeling icky and sore, but a helluva lot better than the other day, when crawling out of bed hurt lots.

Oh, no. It was more along the lines of, "Well, I'll try this once." *taste* "I'm going to make a mental note never to have this again." I'm just glad your mother wasn't offended. I mean heck, she's the one who warned me I probably wouldn't like it.
