Gaming: Conquest 2004

As usual for Easter, I went to Conquest. Despite it being a quiet con (primarily due to the lack of a Con booklet at Arcanacon in January and other issues, but others have ranted about that already), I had fun.

Anyway, in summary, I had a good con, had most mornings and evenings off, and enjoyed the games I GMed and played. I think the important thing to remember about cons is that they're volunteer events, and as such, you really do tend to get back what you put in. If you think the con wasn't run well, or had problems, do something about it. Send them feedback email. Nicely! Don't just rant and rave, say why you thought something was bad, and offer suggestions of how you think it could be better. Or volunteer yourself to help.

Chatting: IM Me, Baby!

Anyone who's stalking my userinfo page will notice that a whole bunch of IM contact details have appeared. Yahoo!, M$N Messenger, AOL IM, ICQ, Jabber, all five are there. This is because Gaim is my friend, and lets me log onto all of them simultaneously. Occasionally I also exist on IRC, #bdsm on EFnet and #gothic on OzNet, either as thorfinn or thorfy.
